2. Natasha est d’origine britannique et parle du tunnel sous la Manche.
Natasha is of British extraction and talks about the Channel Tunnel.
3. La photo est floue. On voit une femme qui veut sauver les apparences. Elle est la douzième à avoir cette attitude.
The photo is blurred. We can see a woman who wants to keep up appearances. She is the twelfth who has this attitude.
4. Elle fut emprisonnée (pas « put to prison ») pour avoir pénétré de force dans cet endroit.
She was jailed for breaking into this place.
5. On disait de Lloyd George qu’il avait un caractère passionné ! (pas « passionate »)
Lloyd George was said to have a fiery temper.
6. Le forgeron parlait très bien le gaulois.
The blacksmith could speak welsh very well.
